Client

The client is one of the major software technology firms in Canada. The client requires an iPhone application for their free online wishlist / social shopping service that makes it easy to save and share interesting things online.

Challenges

The client wanted us to develop an iPhone application for their free online wishlist service that lets users to add anything they want to their favourite wishlist or registry through iPhone. This application is used to fetch items from shopping.com repository. Wishlists and items can be kept private or shared with friends / others. The iPhone application should be integrated with shopping.com API and other details are fetched from the server application which is developed using Ruby on Rails.

What We Did

ANGLER clearly understands the requirements of the client and has created an iPhone application by integrating with shopping.com API for adding / viewing the product details. Users can sign up for an account and add their wishlist or item from the product list of shopping.com inventory that can be added to their account. The application has the unique feature of adding images from the iPhone Photo Gallery. Users can add their favourite items in their gift list, birthday wishlist, wedding registry, baby registry, Christmas list, and much more from the shopping product list. Server response from ROR application will be rendered using NSXML parser.
